Native plants aren’t too high maintenance, but we do still want to give them proper care. In this class, native plant gardeners will benefit from the knowledge of plant physiology, gardening tools, watering guidelines and other best practices. Learn all of the essentials here!

Ryan Fleming

Instructor

Ryan Fleming is an ecological landscape designer and consultant who has been working with native plants for over thirty years. Ryan specializes in native plant designs focused on wildlife habitats including pollinators, birds and other native wildlife. A passionate teacher, with a strong educational background in biology with a concentration on native wildlife and ecology, Ryan volunteers with local environmental entities, and has served as a member of the City of Austin Urban Forestry Board for 8 years.
