Damp, alkaline, alluvial soil. Full sun. Among Poaceae. Large colony.
Description:
Odorless, scapose herb, 40 cm tall from membranous coated bulb. Bulb 5+ cm underground, to 25 mm dia w/fiberous roots. Leaves basal, linear, to 8 mm wide, about as tall as scape. Umbel terminal, 6-12 flowered. Pedicels to 5 cm long. Floral segments-6, white w/reddish central dorsal stripe. Fruit absent.
