Habitat:
Open, level, grassy field with many species of other herbaceous plants. This one few, scattered.
Description:
Erect, single-stalked annual, to 60 cm tall, much branched, viscid & pubescent. Leaves alternate, petioled; lower ones 1-2 pinnate, uppers binnatified, all hirsute. Infloresence terminal on most branches--scorpoid cymes, to 8 cm long (matured). Flowers blue, campanulate. Fruit a 4-seed, globose capsule, 3-4 mm dia. Seed dk brown, 1x3 mm. Corrugated lengthwise.
